This is one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen, and it will probably be one of the weirdest I ever see. This is a collection of ideas, themes, emotions, and people that could have easily been streched into three completely independent films but are instead crammed into a drawn-out sequence of memories, dreams and images that invoke all kinds of reactions from the audience. Above all, this movie is meant to be overwhelming and often hard to follow, most of the time intentionally. Learning about and diving into the psyche of the director, both the actor and the actual director, was the most enjoyable part of the film. He really does not hold back on exploring his own persona and relationship with his memories and other people. He reallys portrays himself as an asshole and a scoundrel, so while I definitely don't relate with the character/director very much, I respect it. There are so many individual moments in this film that are so interesting to analyze/talk about, either just to talk about the film or about the character of Fellini. This is a film that is probably more enjoyable to talk about than actually watch, but its an interesting and slightly enjoyable experience nonetheless.
