This film was good. It's a good story set against the backdrop of a very interesting historical period and place. Although they were maybe too obvious, the themes and motifs of the film were great and visually beautiful most of the time. The ending was also great in this regard and from a story perspective. The characters are interesting to say the least, especially the main one, who was actually very interesting to watch throughout the film. The small comedic aspects were also great. It's just a solid film. Not too much else to say I think.
