This was my first time being introduced to Guest's collection of mockumentaries and I have to say, this is a good first impression. Best in Show is a wonderful dry comedy with great acting, characters, and writing. It's the perfect kind of film to have in the background while you talk with friends or if you just want a few good laughs. I think the only reason why I scored this film as low as I did was because I'm just not used to this kind of comedy style in a movie. I definitely enjoyed it, but maybe I just don't have a good taste for it yet. Regardless, there were several hilarious moments in this film that I am still reminded of while writing this review, not to mention the colorful characters that make this film so entertaining. I'm excited to add a few more of these mockumentaries to my reviews.
