I thought this was a very well done film in many respects. It looks pretty solid, and has great animation that meshes well with the real world. The acting and characters are simple but it works quite well. And the story is cute and even a little suprising at times.
I didn't exactly have super high expectations for this film, but I'm glad I saw it. After hearing what those godless heathens that call themselves humans at Warner Bros were going to do to this piece of art, I knew I needed to go in theaters. And I had a great time; the film is the perfect length and never really gets boring or slow. The comedy is really good and I was laughing quite a bit during. There are even jokes that are so quick and sharp that you probably won't notice them the first time. The film is full of this kind of charm and good writing that makes it very enjoyable.
There's not much I can say that's bad about the film. I heard it's going to turn a profit as well, and I'm glad that money isn't going to WB. I hope people remember this film fondly, because I probably will.
