Edge of Tomorrow

I often forget how many sci-fi movies Tom Cruise has been in, but this is probably the best one. This movie is simply great. The visuals and action work well together and are really good. The acting is barely adequate when it comes to the side characters, but Cruise and Blunt do a good job. The story is good too, although from what I can tell the original story that this movie was based on has a better one. (Makes me want to read it a lot). The characters are great, and I love the contrast and growth of Cage as he slowly becomes just as badass as Rita. The one major thing I think this movie could have done better was the censoring. This movies wants to have gore and violence so bad, I mean this is literally a movie about a man dying hundreds of times over again, but for some reason decides to stick to a PG-13 role. I think that a little gore and violence could have made the visuals of this movie so much better, but oh well. This is still one of the best action sci-fi movies ever made in my opinion.
