Hunt for the Wilderpeople

This is such a fun film that it's a little hard to describe. The dark comedy combined with the lovable characters creates a story that never really loses its luster for even a moment. The characters really are lovable in all aspects; the acting is good and fun, the writing is smart and goofy, and their interactions with one another are always fun to watch. I enjoyed the journey that the kid goes down and watching him grow alongside his uncle. The vistas are incredible and shot very well, giving the film a distinct flare and adventurous tone. There's not much I can really criticize here, the film is fun and funny in all the best ways and it doesn't really waste its time with anything else. I wouldn't say it's the most exciting film ever, but you will not feel unsatisfied after watching.
