Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Oh man this is ass. I've heard the horror stories of how bad this film is plenty of times, and I was still blown away by its terrible qualities. There's plenty to rip on here, such as the terrible story, bad acting, annoying characters, bad set design, goofy action sequences, terrible choreography, and so on. I could really go on for a while about everything wrong here. The things I hated the most, unsurprisingly, were Jones' new sidekicks. These two are actually just a pain to watch most of the time, mostly due to the awful script. Besides this, the overall story is just awful in a lot of ways I can't get into. On a more positive note, there's definitely some "so bad it's good" qualities about this film. I was actually invested in seeing just how ridiculously terrible it could get, and the film got plenty of laughs out of me as well because of this. If it wasn't for some of the more annoying characters I've ever had the pleasure of watching, this might have been the perfect movie to throw on when you want have something to make fun of.
