This movie will always be my favorite out of the series, even though it's not as good.  I just have too much nostalgia for this movie.  Without the mask of nostalgia, this is a fine movie but inferior to its predecessor.  The colors and visual style is way better, but the action is slightly worse and the story and characters suffer under the stress of writing a sequel to a one-off animated movie.  Still, the comedy stands the test of age and it still generally holds up today as a solid comedy action movie.  I know I will watch it again later in life, eventually.
