I wanted to give this movie a higher rating, but I honestly can't. I just dislike the movie in a few too many ways for it to be rewatchable. I do love Edgar Wright, and in the visual department this movie is great, and honestly I bet that if I rewatched it I'd be even more impressed, but there are many problems with this film. For one, the second half of the movie sucks. Just sucks. The story starts getting weird, the characters and writing kinda fall off, and I didn't like the ending very much. I'm not sure if combining a horror movie into a feel-good coming-of-age film is a good idea, but it certainly didn't work here. The acting is fine for the most part, but the only performance that is actually great is Taylor-Joy's. I'm sure many people would enjoy this movie, and I don't exactly regret seeing it, but it's just not that good.
