Generally, I am a sucker for mystery movies, but Memories of Murder is more than that.  This movie (which I only found out recently was based on real-life events) is incredibly thrilling and gripping, with amazing acting and characters.  It's really the characters (and acting) that make this movie as great as it is, because while the story is good, it can sometimes feel a little disjointed.  The intensity and dramatic moments are great here, and coupled with the impressive visuals, make this movie hard to look away from.  The ending is great in my opinion, and so is the entire rest of the movie.
