Steven Spielberg has made a lot of movies over the years, but this might be his most underrated. This is simply a good movie. From the visuals and soundtrack to the character writing and storytelling, there is little to complain about. The sci-fi concept is executed pretty well, and the pacing of the story is pretty good. The multitude of futuristic technology and concepts that are shown in the movie are done very very well for how many there are, and they keep the movie interesting. Of course, there are some things to complain about. The biggest thing that I would say drags this movie down is the big mystery reveal around 2/3rds of the way through. There just wasn't enough opportunity or foreshadowing, in my opinion, to make the payoff really worth it. Not that the thrills are bad, just not as good as they could have been. Overall a great movie and another really good Tom Cruise sci-fi film.
