I am a big fan of the MI series as a whole, and this movie certainly is a great introduction to one of the greatest action series of all time. While it may not be the best of the anthology, this film has a lot to love. Of course the iconic score and a few of the mainstay characters are here in full force, as well as the typically crazy and memorable storylines filled with thrill and tension. The action in this film is good, especially the perhaps most iconic MI scene ever (pic related). However I don't particularly think this particular entry in the series is great on that note. The long ending action scene on the train is kind of a drag, at least when action is concerned. Still this is a solid film that will eventually lead to even better films, which I am excited to review.
