My Neighbor Totoro
Hayao Miyazaki
Directed by:
1988

Miyasaki is one of my favorite directors of any kind of film, and this movie is one of his classics. Looking back, the best parts of this film are when the characters were at their lowest, and the emotional moments were piling up one after another. Besides that, this is such an enjoyable film in terms of visuals and fantasy storytelling. The things shown on-screen are eye candy with how beautiful the world and creatures are, and the animation on the people is excellent too. The characters themselves are super likable and fun to watch, and Satsuki in particular almost completely carries this movie. My Neighbor Totoro is a great piece of film, and something I don't think anybody would dislike.
