Nope

This was one of the most creative takes on the horror genre that I have seen in a while. I feel this way about most of Peele's films, but Nope in particular stands out. For one, the actual horror aspect of the film is good, not great but good. I felt weird walking out of the theater and looking up at the clouds, and that's how it felt to watch the movie too: uneasy. If you're looking for a more jump-scare driven horror movie, this is not for you, but I think Peele takes a much more nuanced approach to the genre and injects it with plenty of flavor in other ways. The themes and references to other pop culture pieces were interesting, and the overall social commentary on society, capitalism, and the culture of spectacle is pretty great. I really did feel changed thanks to this messaging, reevaluating how I consume media and my reasons for doing so. In terms of the ending; I think it was well executed. It's nice for the movie to reveal just enough to answer a lot of questions, but not enough to completely throw mystery out of the window. That being said, for a horror film, it definitely wasn't that scary, but Nope still offers a slew of unique takes on modern society mixed in with an interesting horror concept that makes this movie very entertaining.
