I have wanted to see Oldboy for a long time, but for the wrong reasons.  I first thought that this was a dark and gritty action movie, and while this movie has good, dark visuals and great action, it is much more focused on the story.  And speaking of the story, it's incredible.  Thanks to great pacing, a good premise, and great acting, this story is gut wrenching and unforgettable.  I wasn't bored or uninterested for a single moment during this film, that's how much the story and acting are able to captivate you. This movie made me feel emotions that no other movie has been able to recreate before or since. Thanks to the incredible acting, great story, and incredibly unique themes and twists, this is as unforgettable of a movie as you can get.
