There's not much I can write about this classic that hasn't already been said a million times over. Raiders of the Lost Ark is an absolute gem of Hollywood cinema, an absolute visual feast that is wholly entertaining. That classic Spielberg feel is all over this movie, with great shots showcasing both the quieter and louder moments of tension and action throughout. One of the things that caught my eye the most while watching recently was just the excellent pace of the film. The entertainment almost never stops, going from one amazing sequence to the next with barely enough time for the audience to catch their breath. Pairing this with likeable characters and great action makes for one of the more entertaining movies ever. As with almost all older Hollywood films, their globe-trotting adventure comes with plenty of stereotypes, although as far as I'm concerned this film is comparably tame in this regard. While not exactly perfect, Raiders is just too damn fun to not enjoy.
