Rango is an incredible protagonist, Rattlesnake Jake is an incredible antagonist, and Dirt is a beautiful world.  With so much going for it, it's no surprise that Rango is a great film.  There are gunfights (which is something animated films need to do more of) Western duels, rides into the sunset, and an entire mystery surrounding water.  I can't think of another film like Rango, and maybe that's a good thing, because I can't imagine somebody doing an animated Western better.  This movie deserves more recognition, and I think it's supremely underrated for its genre.
