I have always enjoyed Quentin Tarantino's movies, but it wasn't until I saw Reservoir Dogs that I understood why his reputation was so high.  This movie is a masterpiece in all respects.  The acting is unflawed and characters are masterly written, even without major background development.  The story is incredibly interesting and oozes dramatic tension better than most drama films.  After watching it for the first time, I couldn't stop thinking of the characters and their story for days afterward.  It's hard to forget some moments in this movie, and almost every scene is iconic in its own right.  This is one of my favorite movies of all time.
