Spider Man 3
Sam Raimi
Directed by:
2007

This is honestly one of the more consistent trilogies I think have ever been made. Regardless of their quality, the Raimi Spider-Man's have a very similar tone and feel, with similar visual style to go along with it. In other cases this may have led to it becoming bland and boring over time, but I actually think Spider Man 3 does a good job of mitigating this. This is mostly thanks to a much larger and more complicated story; we now have three villains instead of the typical one, multiple love interests, and in general just several storylines happening simultaneously. It can be a tad overwhelming sometimes, especially when trying to appreciate the finer things about the film. Overall though I think that everything about the film is just as good as the previous two, and the comedic aspects of this one may be the best of them all. The acting, especially from Maguire again, is pretty bad though. More of a film that I'd put on to laugh at as much as watch, but entertaining nonetheless.
