I can't remember how hyped I was for this movie to come out, but I imagine that I was pretty excited. And no matter how anxious I was, I'm positive this film passed my expectations. This is simply a masterpiece of an animated film, with some of the best visuals I have ever seen. The comic book style does so much to create one of the best looking movies of all time. The story and characters maintain the movie's perfection, delivering a story with an array of well-written characters in a well paced story. The three 'main' characters are rightfully the most developed and well-written characters in the movie, something I haven't actually seen in a while. Miles is of course a great character with a good character arc, but the other spider-people also have good writing and character arcs, especially the other two main ones. The action is great, although maybe a tad bit too fast to fully keep up with, and the soundtrack is totally iconic (Sunflower is stuck in my head while writing this). I still can't believe this movie came out only 3 years ago, it seems like so much longer. I absolutely love this movie, and I can't wait for it's sequel.
