Terminator Dark Fate

This was actually a surprisingly good movie for this series, although that isn't saying a lot. Dark Fate actually accomplishes something that almost every one of its predecessors failed to do: make good action. There are actually several really well-choreographed fight scenes in this film, and were undoubtably the highlight. Surrounding the sleu of fights, this film contains a lot of junk. Boring characters, predictable plot, uninspired worldbuilding, and a mediocre story. Bringing back some of the "original" characters for this film bears very little meaning to the actual plot or entertainment, and I actually didn't enjoy watching Sarah Connor in this film at all. Grace was much more interesting, but her character wasn't developed enough to make a real difference. One other bright spot that Dark Fate is able to show is the strong connections to modern day issues, another thing that many of its predecessors have tried and failed to do. While technically one of the best Terminator movies ever, I still wouldn't recommend it. However, it's a perfectly fine film for when you don't want to care or pay attention.
