The 400 Blows

This was a wonderful film to watch and it left my honestly surprised that I have never heard of it before. This is a unique kind of coming-of-age film, one that is more likely to leave you sad that happy but is amazing in its own right. The streets of Paris, filmed through the perspective of a lad just trying to find his place in the world, never looked so lonely. There are plenty of overlapping themes that accompany this loneliness, such as fatherhood and acceptance. I enjoyed how the movie wound the story around the themes and left the audience with many thoughts after the film's good ending. The cinematography and audio were also noticeably great. There's not much I would change about the film at all, its a short but sweet tale that hardly ever gets told.
