I'm surprised at how much I actually liked in this movie but it wasn't much. There's a few fun moments sprinkled throughout the plot, mostly centered around Affleck and Bernthal and their good chemistry and humor. I would claim that this film would have been much better if they had been focused on even more, but their relationship is so far removed from the previous film that I don't know what the writers could have done to make it more interesting than this. On the other hand, there's actually a much more interesting character that only has a minor role in the film. She barely gets any development or screentime but her story/twist is actually really good and is ten times more interesting than whatever this film is trying to do. The action is also pretty lackluster, and there's only a couple action scenes anyway, so most of the film is just following these boring people around. There's definitely some promise underneath this rotting husk, but not much. While not a good film, I honestly think it may be better than the original by a hair.
