While I wasn't exactly sure for a while, this is not the best batman movie. The Dark Knight still holds that title, although I do believe that The Batman comes in a close second. The visuals and soundtrack are superior. The tone and aesthetic in general are very different than any other Batman movie, and look a lot more like other DC films. The visuals are the best part, and do a big part to create a great atmosphere. I love how the Batman in this movie feels more like a real person and not a superhero as other versions do. This version of Batman is by far the coolest and most intimidating ever put to film, thanks in part to the great performance of Robert Pattinson. He and the other members of the cast embody their characters very well. Zoƫ Kravitz is also the best catwoman ever. The Riddler is a cool villain, and I'm glad that they decided to not reuse one of the villains that has already been portrayed in live action. Although I think that the story is good, it could have been a little shorter, and the ending drags on for a little longer than I thought was necessary.
