I watched this film in 3D, the only reason for this is that the movie was originally shot in 3D and was planned to be released this way. Watching the film, it was obvious that the exhibition of the capabilities of 3D were the only things on the creators' minds. There are multiple sequences/shots in this movie that exist solely to accentuate the volume of a space and the different interesting things that 3D can do. Unfortunately, few of these scenes are written well into the story and have no relevance. The scenes that do have relevance are often not the best showcasers of 3D, and so the whole concept becomes stupid. Anyway, the movie sucks in a lot of ways. The story is basic and boring, the characters poorly written and acted. It's a B movie through and through, and while there are a few interesting/entertaining moments, this is not a movie that many people would ever enjoy. Contrary to my original point, there are a few scenes that are heightened by the 3D aspect, which makes me curious as to the full capabilities of the medium. However, the technology is also a pain to set up and often doesn't even work that well.
