The Godfather Part 3
Francis Coppola

Thank the lord that this movie had some great predecessors, or else this would have been a god-awful movie. Luckily, this movie is slightly held up by the foundation set by the previous films, and the return of Al Pacino and other minor characters. All of the new characters, plot devices, and action set pieces are terrible in this film. The one decent thing I can say is that I do think that this is a good conclusion to Michael's character arc, however, that is really the only satisfying thing about this film. It's boring, weird, repetitive, lacks stakes, lacks tension, and lacks almost everything that made the previous movies great. I would give this movie a lower score, but this is a good conclusion to Michael's character, so I'll concede a little.
