Y tu mamá también
Alfonso Cuarón

2001

This was a film that I had heard so many great things about for many years. I was glad to finally have the chance to watch it, and I have to say that it lived up to all of my expectations. This is a wonderfully done film that has a lot to say in many different facets of life. The acting is great and really brings the audience into the world of the characters, where the main three of them are interesting and fun to watch throughout the entire film. I loved the different avenues of drama and character development that took place during the film, especially near the middle/end. There were some absolutely beautiful scenes, ideas, and moments that make this one of the greatest coming-of-age films I've ever watched. Definitely need to see this again soon.
