Seriously cool and well-done movie that has been on my radar for a while. I'm honestly a little shocked that I hadn't seen it sooner, but it was worth the wait. Indrecibly cute from the very start, Your Name does the "freaky friday" trope extremely well with interesting characters, settings, and themes. I think the intro is especially strong, bringing you into their world without talking about the main gimmick of the movie too much. That's the strongest point to make about this film I think; it always keeps its focus on the characters. Even with a crazy fantasy plot and setpieces, the main core of the film remains solely fixed on the characters that the audience is practically forced to fall in love with. I also loved the twist near the end. Just really solid overall, and I'm glad the ending wasn't as melancholy as I thought it might be.
