Hayao Miyazaki

While animation has been gradually gaining respect in the film scene, Miyazaki has been perfecting his craft. Even before founding Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki was creating fantastical worlds beyond our imaginations. His films are filled with fantastical elements, lovable characters, and a wonderful sense of joy. Miyazaki's films may not be flashy or dramatic, but their place has been cemented as one of the most loved filmographies ever.
